This is a site that is powered by a database and that allows the site owner greater flexibility to add new sections, change the text or images on specific pages. This may sound daunting but if you can use a word processing program such as Microsoft Word then you will be capable of maintaining your own website. These sites have a Content Management System (CMS) at their heart.
Ecommerce Site
This is an extension of a dynamic site that not only allows you to decide on content such as categories and products but also enables a user to make purchases using a credit card. The payment itself will usually be handled by a third party company such as World Pay, Protx etc. This ensures that you as a trader are offered maximum security against fraudulent transactions.
